This exquisite Pink Bourbon varietal is cultivated by third-generation producer Miller Bustos at his farm, El Mirador, located in Acevedo, Huila.
Having inherited the farm from his mother over 20 years ago, Miller began focusing on specialty coffee in the early 2010's when he saw that specialty coffee was garnering higher prices. To improve quality, Miller employs the latest processing and fertilisation methods and hopes that his two daughters who are currently studying agronomy will be able to contribute to the success of the farm.
This coffee was grown at an altitude of 1500 meters, after selectively handpicking the ripest cherries, they undergo anaerobic fermentation in grain-pro bags for 120 hours. Subsequently, the cherries are spread on patios to sundry for approximately 25 days.
Flavour profile: Black Plum, milk chocolate, dried fig.
