Made in Japan, each piece is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans using the Yamanaka-shikki lacquerware method, a centuries-old wood-lathing technique that has been perfected since the 16th century.

This technique involves cutting the wood vertically against the grain, which reduces warping and enhances durability, allowing the dripper to withstand the test of time. The vertical cutting method also preserves the wood’s natural grain, revealing delicate lines and a refined, understated beauty in every piece.

The Yasukiyo Wooden Dripper is designed for versatility, with horizontal ribs along the inner wall and a large center hole for optimal drainage, making it compatible with both 1-cup cone and Kalita Wave 155 filters (not 185).
