Orea O2 Brewer

Introducing the OREA O2 Brewer — the larger sibling to the O1, designed for greater versatility and larger brews while retaining the same unique open-bottom brewing system.

With an ideal dose range of 12–28g, the O2 gives you more room to brew while maintaining a compact, lightweight form. Its larger format makes it equally comfortable brewing a single cup or pushing into larger two-cup recipes.

Crafted from genuine Eastman Tritan, the O2 is clear like glass while remaining highly durable, impact-resistant and completely food safe. Its unibody construction is lightweight, simple and built for everyday use.

At the heart of the O2 is OREA’s signature open bottom. The paper filter rests on a central ridge, naturally folding towards the centre and encouraging water to flow through the middle of the coffee bed. The unrestricted base allows for fast, free-flowing brews, while giving you plenty of room to manipulate flow through grind size, pouring structure and agitation.

The O2 is compatible with both Wave 185 and Flat 185 filter papers, allowing you to explore different bed geometries and brewing styles.

Pair it with OREA Regulators to control maximum flow rate, or add the Switch Adapter and a Hario Switch base to explore immersion and hybrid brewing.

Versatile, lightweight and highly adaptable, the O2 takes the principles of the O1 and opens them up to a much broader range of recipes.
