Hiflux is made from lyocell, a plant-based fibre derived from wood pulp, formed into a soft, woven fabric. It’s thicker than traditional paper filters, yet more porous, allowing water to pass through with less resistance. There’s no heavy processing or added binders — just a clean, simple material that does things its own way.

That difference shows up immediately in the brew.

Water moves through quickly, giving you a fast, steady drawdown even when grinding finer than usual. It creates a bit more freedom in how you approach brewing — you can push extraction without the filter becoming a bottleneck.

That added porosity also allows more of the coffee’s natural lipids and fine particles to pass through, contributing to a cup with greater texture and presence. Expect a fuller, rounder mouthfeel, with a smooth, silky finish that carries through the entire cup.

Designed for conical brewers, the Folding V starts as a semi-circle and can be easily folded into shape — no tools, no fuss. It sits neatly into your dripper, making it a simple and adaptable option for everyday brewing.
