Originally developed as a one-off formulation for World of Coffee Jakarta, Konflux was designed for brewers operating under competition pressure, where harmony, balance, and cohesion are non-negotiable. Following overwhelming interest and proven performance in the cup, the profile was further refined and has now earned its place as a permanent addition to the Apax Lab lineup.
Konflux introduces something entirely new to the range through the addition of silica — a quiet but crucial mineral that enhances mouthfeel, texture, and perceived sweetness while preserving transparency, balance, and flavour clarity. The result is a cup that feels fuller, fresher, and more resolved, bringing depth and calm richness to coffees that might otherwise lack intensity or body.
Konflux stands confidently on its own, or can be layered with Apax’s signature Tonik, Jamm, and Lylac profiles to add structure and tactile depth — rounding edges, supporting sweetness, and bringing cohesion to more expressive or high-clarity brews.

Directions for use:
Shake the bottle thoroughly for a few seconds before use.
Open the bottle and use the dropper to dose into demineralised water prior to extraction or directly into your cup of coffee post extraction.
We recommend using 3 to 4g of mineral concentrate per litre of water, or 1 to 10 drops directly into the cup. Thorough instructions for use included in the box
*A 100ml bottle is good for approximately 150 brews.
*A 20ml bottle is good for approximately 30 brews.
Konflux mineral composition:
Water, calcium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, silica, potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate.
These minerals are lab-grade and food safe.
