Panama - Panama Janson Estate, Lot 219 / Gesha / Anaerobic Natural - 100g
Proudly presenting Lot 219 from the highly esteemed Janson Family Estate in Panama - the same competition coffee that our founder, Julijan, recently used to secure third place in the 2024 Australian Brewer's Cup Championship!
Originating from Janson's Hacienda Las Lagunas, this exquisite coffee epitomises the pinnacle of Panamanian coffee. Grown at an elevation of 1400 meters in the finest shaded volcanic soil, the cherries were fermented for 48 hours in carbon dioxide pressurised tanks before being naturally dried on patios and in static dryers over 14 days.
This lot features a vibrant citrus and tropical profile with highlights of blood orange, pineapple, and cola. It offers a lusciously juicy and syrupy mouthfeel, evoking the essence of stone fruits and is enhanced by an unparalleled and intricate acidity - a blend of citric, phosphoric, and malic that leaves you with the most pleasant tingle.
Flavour profile: Blood orange, pineapple, cola.
[Note] This coffee is roasted to order, please allow 1 - 2 days for dispatch. It is packaged in 100g vacuum-sealed portions to preserve freshness. The metal tin is included separately.

We recommend using the Orea Porcelain Brewer with Kalita Wave filters for this recipe, as Julijan did in competition. If unavailable, a good substitute is the Origami Dripper with Kalita Wave, or Orea V4 with the OPEN bottom.
